Biography

Professor Celestine Iwendi

Professor Iwendi is an internationally recognised researcher, IEEE Brand Ambassador, TEDx speaker, Senior Member of IEEE, Chartered Engineer, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants. He holds a PhD in Electronics Engineering.

With more than 25 years of experience across artificial intelligence, machine learning, the Internet of Things, wireless sensor networks, cybersecurity, digital health and intelligent systems, he has built a global research profile focused on solving real-world challenges through technology, collaboration and innovation.

His work spans multiple United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and has earned international recognition, including Royal Academy of Engineering Exceptional Talent status and inclusion in the Elsevier and Stanford list of the world’s top two percent of influential scientists.
